Purple Squares

So I am taking a break from my afghan I started.  And I am working on some squares for a friend of mine that is making a comfort ghan that is going to be all shades of purple.  I am working on my 4th square now, one I dont have a picture of right now is just a plain granny square.  <3  I may make another plain granny square later on.  We shall see how it goes.  <3

A new update

So I bet you are probably wondering what I have been up to lately in the last few days.  Aside from working, I've been making squares for an afghan I am making for a friend of mine.  Here's what I got so far plus a few others I couldnt fit in the picture.  But there's going to be all sorts of colors here.  I do hope you like it so far! <3

Another try

I did my 2nd square in that same pattern but the opposite color! Here's how it turned out! I like this try a bit better than my first try! <3

Something Different

So I decided to try out a different pattern.  It actually isn't lomp sided, it just looks like it is because it's sitting on my lap when I took the pic.  The green is brighter than this, it was just dark in my apartment when I took it.  I'll get a better pic made a little later sometime and add it.  But Im kind of happy with how it turned out and I think that I will eventually make me a blanket with this pattern.  I also think I shall use this pattern when I make the squares for a friend of mine as well! <3 Please feel free to comment on this and tell me what you think!!

Christmas Afghan Update

I actually have a few more rows added than what's in this picture.  I took this picture early this morning.  Now on the top part, I am up to my 2nd round of the variegated.  I about ran out of red and I am at my friend's house today.  So I guess when I get to the 2nd round of green, that I will have to stop for the day. <3 But It is still a long ways from being done LOL It's going to be for a friend of mine to drape across her couch as decoration. :-) Im pretty pleased with how it is coming so far.

So I decided to keep a blog.  I am 27 years old and live in Carrollton, GA.  Anyhow, this is a pic of my christmas afghan that I am working on! <3 I hope I get it finished by christmas if anything else!
